Salandria Articles

Concerning a reader's query [Fair Play #17] as to whether Vince Salandria had doubts about Richard A. Sprague, let me say that Vince never had faith in the HSCA. It was his view that the investigations of the post-Vietnam, post-Watergate 1970s would be used to relegitimate state power, particularly the military/intelligence apparatus, even as they offered us tantalizing tidbits of conspiracy data. While I was initally hopeful about the HSCA, I soon fully embraced this view.

New MLK Page

Hello,

I have created, with the the help of Debra Conway of JFK Lancer, a new web page with a link to an ftp site on the James Earl Ray hearings and the new developments in the Dr. King assassination case. It is now ready for your perusal.

I welcome your comments. Enjoy!

Money Orders

I am seeking any information available on the money orders that Lee Harvey Oswald collected from the Dallas Western Union office during the period of 10/3/63 to 10/7/63. The records of these money orders were seized by the FBI after the assassination, and were apparently released in 1977 along with a large amount of other data.

One researcher I have spoken to remembers reading about these money orders from a microfiche, but cannot recall the details of the FBI's investigation.

Thank you and your readers in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer me.

Sincerely,

Tom Peterson

The Rambler

Thanks for notification of the new FP and the update. I started the Rambler 96 update but realized that I'd better go back to the beginning and read the thing carefully.

Joe Schwind

We hope others go back to the beginning and read the thing carefully, too. To be blunt, we were quite disappointed that we didn't get much feedback to Mr. Bartholomew's important article. Perhaps readers wrote to him directly.
