Great Site!

Hello Mr. Kelin; I always read your Fair Play issues and I wanted to send you a brief note to let you know that I think they are very informative and interesting. I liked the article a few months back on Ruth Paine's activities in Central America. Thanks again for your efforts.
Joe Martines
Thanks Joe. The article you refer to was excerpted from a presentation by Carol Hewett, Steve Jones, and Barbara LaMonica at COPA 1995. Be sure to see the stuff on the Paines by Nancy Wertz in this issue.
PS: I am not now, nor have I ever been, a "Mr." (I'm not a woman, either, but that's another story.) But thanks!
Based on all the evidence I have so far read over some 30+ years, I acknowledge that number one, like a badly damaged photo, certain sections are starting to crystallize while other sections are still out of focus or entirely missing. With this stated as a pre-text, I believe that as far as speculative thoery goes, Allen Dulles had the motive, the means and the most to gain (vengance among others) to at minimum participate in suppressing the facts by controlling the Warren Case (as he seems to have done) since he was the ONLY member to apparently attend every session, and possibly coerce the commision members into buying the laughable magic bullet as well as the lone nut cover story.
However, if one were to postulate additional involvment by Dulles, one could certainly say that as a component of a larger complex aggregate, he was in the perfect position to either/or help forment militant reaction, coordinate and design the overall working model of the plan with all of the CIA's loyal assets at his disposal as well as a host of military government and private sector contacts he built during his historic tenur as CIA director. Helms, Bissel and Cabell were fierclly loyal to Dulles to name a few. So why hasn't he been thoroughly investigated as a prime suspect or at least.
an accessory to this terrible event?
In summary, to view this as a normal homicide case without the trappings history, one can see how Dulles could have pulled off the perfect crime. The pipe smoking gentlman spy performing his master piece of villany by pretending to be an impartial investigator of his own crime. Sherlock might have solved this one.
I enjoy your newsletter very much. My education has been greatly enhanced by your many links and wonderful bibliography. most of the books are ones I've encountered, and I was happy to see my assessments of the books were in line with your own.
I am appalled at the number of people who are "sure" they know who "did it." Further examination of these people reveal that they cannot even name the members of the Warren Commission, let alone provide one shred of backing information for their claim. I have no idea what happened that day in Dallas, but I am committed to overturning as many rocks as I can, if for no other reason than for the ability to assess any new theories as they might come along.
Thank You,
Ken Siebert
Thanks for the time...
