Places around the Web of interest to those looking into the Kennedy assassination and related matters.
- Kennedy Assassination Records Collection is a National Archives and Records Administration site, providing a jumping-off point for finding online records related to the assassination. Sites like this one are what the Web is all about, if you'll pardon the editorializing.
- JFK/Political Web Page is a site maintained by Michael T. Griffith. It consists of a variety of articles on subjects like an introduction to the JFK assassination, a defense brief for Lee Oswald, and flaws in the lone gunman theory.
- The Consortium is a political magazine which sometimes has articles related to the JFK case.
- The John F. Kennedy Assassination Home Page is the product of a computer science student in West Germany. Among the things available here are the Zapruder film and the Warren Report.
- Probe is the magazine of CTKA, the Citizens for Truth about the Kennedy Assassinations; this is their Web site. Good information here, but unfortunately it seems proprietary --- there were no links to anywhere else on the Web, last time we checked. Which is too bad.
- Lancer is the Web site of JFK-Lancer Productions Publications. They're the ones who, among other things, publish The Assassination Chronicles. There are plenty of links to related sites, and information about what JFK-Lancer does. Well worth a look.
- The Nook of Eclectic Inquiry consists of database material concerning the Warren Commission's investigation. "These databases," say the site's keeper, "represent a portion of my efforts to fully understand what transpired in Dallas on November 22, 1963." We think the Related Documents page --- consisting, among other things, of an LHO "chronological timeline" and Dr. Pierre Finck's personal notes --- is some of the most interesting stuff here.
- John F. Kennedy Assassination Newsletter is a publication by retired news photographer Tom Alyea, who asks, "Was there a high-level conspiracy or is it only a profitable hoax?" He doesn't tip his hand on this page, which is essentially an ad for the newsletter. Buyer beware.
- Truth is Redacted contains articles on the controversial "backyard photos" and other aspects of the assassination. There's also some stuff about the Unabomber. The site's keeper promises regular updates.
- The JFK Assassination is a collection of articles by Michigan writer Grover E. Proctor, Jr.
- Cloak and Dagger Books is one of the resources mentioned in the Who's Who and What's What file. They now boast a Web site.
- Mike Royden's Home Page is a collection of JFK-related material, mostly with a British slant. Includes articles and bibliographies.
- JFK Assassinaton Investigaton Records "The records include materials apparently collected by DA Jim Garrison and his staff during their investigation of the Kennedy assassination; photocopies of portions of the court record in the case of Louisiana vs Clay Shaw and other cases related to the investigation; correspondence files; and a file of miscellaneous material." Note: none of these records are online. What you'll find here is a catalog of three boxes of stuff donated to the New Orleans City Archives.
- Colonel Fletcher Prouty Reference Site is devoted to the work of Fletcher Prouty, the model for the "X" character in Oliver Stone's JFK.
- Jack White JFK Educational Research is the site by longtime assassination photo analyst Jack White. The site's overall objective seems to be to "compile a researcher consensus to assist novices in the search for truth." Still in its first incarnation last time we checked, Mr. White says the site will be updated periodically.
- National Conspiracy League is a site that, in its new and improved state, has "tons of new links and all of our favorite Kennedy players on commemorative baseball cards," according to its keeper.
- Dealey Plaza UK is the Web site of a British organization of the same name. The site's keeper says it "contains/will contain useful information to the JFK research community."
- Larry Charbonneau's JFK Page was set up to provide a wide range of information regarding the Kennedy Assassination and the events surrounding it. It includes links to other sites, and various images.
- JFK Resources Online is a collection of text, sound and picture files relating to the case, and links to various sites around the Web, all with a pleasant, rather personal touch.
- The Puzzle Palace has as its "primary focus...information concerning the assassination of President John F. Kennedy," including scans of CIA documents relating to Oswald's visit to Mexico.
- The JFK Assassination Home Page is maintained by Robert Harris, an occasional contributor to Fair Play. In addition to assassination analysis, there are links to various JFK sites around the Web.
- Oliver Stone: Our Greatest Film Director is both a Web site and a debateable point. This site, nevertheless, examines Stone's work, including, of course, his controversial film JFK.
- 6th Floor Museum is a page set up by the folks at the museum occupying the former TSBD. There isn't much at this site---no links, and one photograph that you've seen a zillion times. But if you want to know the museum's hours, rates, and so forth, well...here they are.
- Oswald Missed is an article by Canadian writer Tod Maffin, who accepts the Lone Nut thesis, but thinks Oswald really meant to kill Connally.
- Declassified Documents relating to the Kennedy presidency can be found at this site. Stuff includes .gifs of some actual documents, and html versions of others.
- The Dave Emory Home Page consists of information distilled from Emory's broadcasts, which focus on "domestic and foreign political assassinations, and governmental complicity with organized crime and drug smuggling syndicates."
- The JFK Place is Deanie Richards' gopher site with pictures, reviews, and information related to the JFK case.
- The Lisa Pease Real History Archive is a web site featuring lots of interesting stuff, such as transcripts of Radio Pacifica interviews with assassination researchers, book reviews, and much more.
- FTP Site for JFK Materials This is a link to an ftp that contains a variety of assassination material. Once you connect to the server, select pub/lpease and wait for the list of available stuff. The server is a little slow sometimes, so there may be a short wait.
- Acacia Press Home Page "Our books on Freemasonry re-publish much of the Anti-Masonic literature of the 19th and early 20th century. We also build a case to suggest Freemasons played a role in at least covering up the Kennedy assassination."
- GONZO Links is "a collection of links to various Webpages dealing with the assassination, various government conspiracies and dirty tricks, alternative culture zines, and political resources."
- 50 Greatest Conspiracies of All Time is the title of a book by Jonathan Vankin and John Whalen. This Web site is its Internet companion, offering continual updates to the book, according to its promotional material.
- The Intelligence Page has links to the FBI, CIA, and other stuff.
- Deep Politics Bookstore An online "Bookstore for Democracy." Find books on government corruption, dirty tricks, and dirty secrets.
- Secrets of a Homicide: The JFK Assassination is a site by researcher Dale Myers. It's basically an ad for a video: "...a computer animation project aimed at adding a new level of clarity to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Motion geometry from the Zapruder film is applied to a full-scale 3D computer model of Dealey Plaza." Dale once said to us, "The average guy doesn't do what I do."
- Investigative Database is a site by Michael Moore, a Boston-area investigative researcher. He maintains a proprietary database that he'll "make available to information professionals." Interested parties should know that Mr. Moore will search his database for free, but charge $25.00 for any "hits."
- The Truth As I See It focuses on various government misdeeds, with special emphasis on the April 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. Be forewarned---they'll try to sell you a video at part of this site, but it's a soft sell, and there's other stuff worth checking out.
- The Alliance to Expose Government Corruption and Corporate Irresponsibility has information ranging from JFK to October Surprise, Iran-Contra to the downing of Pan Am flight 103.
- A-albionic Research is a "ruling class/conspiracy research resource" offering online information, book searches, and much more.
- Echoes of Conspiracy is a gopher site with somewhat dated JFK material. Still worth a look though.
- Executive Action is an ftp site for JFK materials. There are a number Zapruder images available, plus various articles relating to the Kennedy case.
- The Kennedy Assassination Home Page The Official Story of the JFK assassination has its defenders.
- alt.conspiracy.jfk is a Usenet group ostensibly devoted to the JFK case. However, in our experience it is usually bogged down in personal vendetta --- and distastefully so.
- alt.conspiracy.jfk.moderated is a spinoff of the above; moderators are standing by to (it is hoped) keep the heat to a minimum.
