[1] We might add here that there were two other out of the ordinary assignments only in the Dallas motorcade. Only in Dallas did Governor Connally ride in front of the President. At other stops on the Texas trip, Governor Connally rode at the left of Mrs. Kennedy in the back seat or he was in the jump seat in front of Mrs. Kennedy.

Also only in Dallas did Kenny O'Donnell move the Military Aide, General Godfrey McHugh, from the front seat of the Presidents automobile to a car further back in the motorcade. Wonder is [sic--if?] they gave him a reason like--don't want to get your uniform bloody! --Penn Jones
