Here is a sampling of reader feedback we've had so far:

Kudos from Cat Machine

Well, I finally checked out FAIR PLAY tonight, and I was quite impressed. And interested, perhaps more than you might expect. Something that I'm working on for Cat Machine is a very long serial called Outsiders, which deals with the prospect of some sort of extraterrestrials on Earth. At the moment, in its earliest stages, it's kind of in the X-Files mode, with government cover-ups and everything. The JFK conspiracy theories are something I plan to draw heavily on.

Sorry it took so long for me to check out the Web site. I'll advise the rest of the staff to have a look too. I really like it, and as soon as I get some more time, I'm going to start reading the articles more carefully.

A Word from Down Under (sort of)

Gidday
Well congratulations are in store for someone for getting up off their butt and putting something like this together, instead of listening to people on the news groups having a go at each.

If there's any resources that you could possibly direct me to or other proffesional people like the jfk assassination research centre or any other useful stuff.

You gave us an idea. The next issue of Fair Play will contain a roundup of the various organizations we're aware of who deal in the JFK assassination in one capacity or another.

Keep Up the Good Work

Dear Editor of "Fair Play":
Your paper is doing a good job of exposing the disinformation/propaganda/BS of the x-Fascist criminals/crooks/wackos who continue to defend the Warrenian government's brutal extermination of 2.5 million facts. These x-CIA/Naval Intelligence/FBI "moronians" really believe that the American public does not still demand an accounting of the systematic "cleansing" of 2.5 million facts between 1963 and 1994. Maybe they've spent too much time dancing with "Ted the Idiot". No wonder that beacon of net.fraud is in such a mess.

Take a look at alt.conspiracy.jfk and see what these bandits/thugs are up to. They are even "posting FAQs" in a blatant attempt to deceive the public. A certain "Lokkian of the Church of Posner/Denial" is the main self-exposed/ admitted crook/wacko behind this ridiculous trickery. Along with his accomplices "Stagerian," "Rathbonian", and "Macadamianut of ISPR/x-Comdisco," this wienerramus tries to fool unsuspecting net.readers into thinking that his "FAQs/BS/Craps" represent accepted opinion about the JFK assassination. No matter how many times this self-confessed/evident fraud is exposed, "Lokkian" and his cronies never stop denying the Warrenian government's wanton annihilation of 2.5 million facts.

Sincerely,
Serdar Oswald

Question About the Z-Film

Do you have images from the missing Z-frames (~207-210) which show the [Stemmons Freeway] sign being hit by a bullet?

If so I would very much like to see that!

A recent msg posted on alt.con.jfk (15 FEB 95) stated that [the poster] had seen these pictures in LIFE mag Nov 25, 1966 issue and they showed "cracks" appearing in the sign. This would be why the FBI "lost" them when they turned the film over to the WC.

The poster above was not sure if they could not have been some sort of defect in the film.

Well, what do you say?

Thanks for a great WEB site...simply fantastic!

W.T. Parker

Thanks for the encouraging words.

An article addressing this issue, under preparation for a future issue of Fair Play, has unfortunately been scrapped, due to a staffing shake-up at the mag. But the cracks-in-the-freeway-sign question is an old one, and we would love to shed some light on it. Fair Play has an 8mm copy of the Z-film, a gift from Penn Jones, but lack the facilities to enlarge the crucial frames and digitize them. (In fact, we don't even have an 8mm projector!) Any readers who might be able to help convert these images, or who might have access to the LIFE magazine issue in question--or who might already have these digitized images--are encouraged to contact Fair Play, so that we may present them in a future issue.
