History can be lumped into blocks of time. Periods. Events, turning points. This is true in personal history as well as world history.
I was 10 years old when JFK became president; 13 when he was murdered. I believe the events of 11-22-63 affected not only world history but my own as well. The shattered dreams of a young boy who lost his mentor. And then to have those same dreams rekindled by RFK only to be destroyed again in '68
The following are the lyrics to a song I wrote in 1993. Many of those responsible for the death of the Kennedys are gone; hopefully the After Life is treating them accordingly. The fact that many of these cowards are dead by no way means we should not endeavor to bring their names and deeds out in the open to be recorded in history forever. And as for those who who still live and participated directly or indirectly in a cover-up, well, they should pay for their acts.
I feel that like in all crimes, one must go back to the beginning.
The crime that began in November '63 continues today; the fact that our current President,
a democrat--supposedly a JFK admirer--states publicly that Lee Oswald acted alone and that
there is no evidence to suggest otherwise is proof of that.
So if you don't like where we've been or where we're headed and you want to know how we got here,
you've got to go on back to '63.

And if you want to know how it got to be,
We had just begun to work things out,
Well the next five years, they were cold and dark,
I am an angry young American,
And if you want to know how it got to be,
They got reports that cover up all the little-known facts,
And if you want to know how it got to be,
For twenty-five and thirty years,
You can run and you can hide,
And if you want to know how it got to be
It was somewhere back in '63.

Back to '63
I remember John F. Kennedy,
I remember his brother, Bobby, too.
It was somewhere back in '63,
When they killed the first young Kennedy.
And, my friends, we will never be the same,
After losing the president and RFK.
You've got to go on back to '63.
You know the future sure looked good to me.
Then came the news that still rings in my ears--
Young Lance was shot, they said, "from the rear".
The war was on, we protest in the park.
Then came the senator from New York City,
He picked up the torch and they blew it out.
And you can run and you can hide,
We're going to find you even if we have to find you in your grave.
And I just can't let it die.
They took the body and brain in '63,
They took the heart and soul in '68.
You've got to go on back to '63.
And if you know how to read, see what I'm talking about.
Well the truth is as close as an open mouth,
Within the the Bloody Senate and the Holy House.
You've got to go on back to '63.
This country's been built on lies and tears
So c'mon, Clinton, I mean, you shook his hand;
You can use his office to cleanse the land.
We're going to find you even if we have to find you in your grave.
I'm an angry young american
And I just can't let it die
They body and brain in '63;
They took the heart and soul in '68
You've got to go on back to '63.
I remember John F. Kennedy.
I remember his brother, Bobby, too.
When they killed the first young Kennedy.
And if you want to know how it got to be,
You've got to go on back to '63.
You've got to go on back to '63.
