Jay Varma (India) was awarded the Sanford Award for Exceptional Merit for "Pillars Within".

Mr. Varma's attendance and participation in the
Eighth International Colored Pencil Society of America Exhibition
demonstrates the success of the national organization in attaining world wide growth,
as well as recognition of colored pencil as a fine art medium
